WORD: Harvest
SPEAKER: Diane Harrison
DATE: December 27, 2009
I just feel this morning God wants me to share here a word more to do with the new year and it almost seems a bit premature What I feel God is saying to this church for the new year is it'going to be a harvest year - more than we've ever seen before Just like small farms do their best with combining God is saying this is the year that he is bringing in the custom combines so there is a whole field that gets reaped in a massive production and God is saying that this year that is what he is bringing us into. There's those of you who have had in your heart nigglings of new starts and God would say this is an influence from me because there's many that are going to start things that they have never done before. There's house churches that are going to start that are going to have certain flavours to them and groups that are going to connect around ideas that have just started in your mind God would say these are keys to the harvest and this is going to be a big year of reaping. I just feel like God says put your focus to the harvest like you never have before. This isn't the year for introversion; this isn't a year for working on all of your character flaws. God says you need to look outward in a bigger way than you ever have because he is sending in the custom combiners and there is going to be a massive reaping. I feel God says even now over this Christmas season you need to begin to connect with those that he puts around you and raise your eyes of faith because there is going to be a difference. The spirit of God is moving in people's hearts.
There's so many that are closer to salvation than you've ever known before and God says we need to resist where the devil is just putting blinders on our eyes, where he's trying to muzzle our mouths and he's saying even to those that are meek, even those that are quiet open your mouths wide and I will fill it for there is a great harvest to come and God says resist the unbelief of the enemy for he has given us faith to reap, faith to harvest, he is putting us in place and we need to give out more than we ever have before.
